Is there multiplayer?

Yes, Fallout Tactics does have a multiplayer mode. There are four multiplayer game types available for Tactics, which include Skirmish, Assault, Capture the Flag, and Scavengers. Skirmish is similiar to a last man standing match; basically the last player standing wins. Assault is most like other single player missions in Tactics, where one team of players has to complete a set of objectives, while another team tries to stop them. Capture the Flag is pretty self- explanatory; you have to capture your enemies flag. Lastly, in scavengers, you must attempt to grab the largest amount of loot in the time allotted, while preventing opponents from doing the same.

Is Tactics turn-based or real-time?

One of the nice features about Tactics is that it basically supports both modes of gameplay, and allows the player to decide which to use. The real-time mode of Tactics is called Continious Turn-Based. Basically, it is a hybrid between turn-based and real-time. CTB allows players to move around at any time, but actions like firing a gun cost characters action points. Action points then regenerate over time.
