Why actually maybe it would be great to delete your own posts. Like in my situation it was kind of a token to make it up with you guys.... What are the bad sides of deleting your own posts?

The last time that people were able to delete their own posts, we had a huge flame war between two members. One of them kept deleting their posts to make the other one look stupid. Plus, deleting posts is a good way to raise your post count without anyone really knowing you are doing so.

Yeah. Primarily, it's a precaution against spam and flame wars. I know people could still edit their posts, but that is easier to detect and deal with than deleting posts.

No the feature is not enabled anymore. The Proconsul as a whole decided it was for the best of the community to just turn off that feature.
