Did people notice it was down?

How does it look with payment for Scotty? Do you want to stop or? Should we put some coin to it? :)

I e-mailed PK but I never got a response, perhaps he will pop in and let us know what is up.

Yeah, I saw it. At first I was like: NOOO! ;~;

I know this is months late. I've been meaning to get around here to let you know what happened, and I feel you guys deserve an explanation since, let's be honest, you are the reason this place is still around.

There are two costs associated with hosting TRS (neither of them are all that much). The first is the domain name so that when you go to stgfc.com, this place comes up. The second is hosting (ie, the servers that contain all the site files and db). The hosting is a monthly thing, so it's easy to keep on top if it. For the domain, I usually renew it for a few years at a time, which unfortunately makes it easy to overlook-- which is what happened a few months ago. So, everything for the site was still there, but the domain was gone. I know a few people reached out to me; the first one that I saw was jello's message on Facebook. Anyways, a quick phone call later and the domain was back in my hands.

I wondered if that wasn't the case.

This also makes me wonder how hard/much money it would be to get some of the old Fallout Fan site domains back into the hands of the fans?

Also...LOOK EVERYONE ITS PK!!

Carry on.

Getting the domains wouldn't be that expensive, unless a squater has it and sets the price sky high. The trickier part would be getting the content back. Best case scenario is whoever ran the site before grabbed a complete backup of everything before closing the doors, and still has it laying around somewhere (we'd still need to figure out who to contact for each site, which may be difficult in its own regard). Worst case is no backups exist at all, which would mean drudging through things like the wayback machine for content.
