wow, the passionating, ultra-interesting stgfc conversations!Lemme add to the pool. Today I woke up, was cold because heating the house costs money. (i sleep with joggings and long-sleeved shirt) Went to eat some pita terrorist-bread with honey and butter. Then I went on pc for a couple of minutes, tried to fix my controller problem in Soul Reaver, but in vain.(damn psx ports!) So I uninstalled the game. So then I dressed to go out for some business(wow, I've been rotting at home for the past like century). And that's when I brushed my teeth. Then I went out and ran to take the bus. Was pretty cold(-15). AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRGGGGGGG fuck this is stupid! sorry, couldn't continue the lameness any longer... -------------------- jump on her and demand sex!

And my computer is really stuffed and im at my dads for the first time in like a fortnight, sorry you guys!Maybe you can help me, i just got hold of a Windows 98 boot disc, i've never used one before, how do they work? It comes up with a prompt which says A//: and I have no idea what to put in, im guessing its asking you to tell it where the alternative system files are right? My problem is that the computer crashes just before the password window pops up when windows is starting up sometimes it says it cant find msvcrt20.dll, which im assuming means if I can start it with the boot disc I can run an update right? Maybe if someone tells me I can get my fucking computer working, and you have no idea how happy that would make me. -------------------- What is new is always evil, being that which wants to conquer and overthrow the old boundary markers and the old pieties; and only what is old is good. about your problem slurry, it's really a matter of using ur brains, funny how you didn't think of it scotty.First, as long as I know, a boot disk is for installing/reinstalling an OS(operating system). What the boot disk does is it loads up the DOS operating system into RAM memory, so you can do whatever you want with the hard drive. But it can be used for other stuff too. For example, you might try to get that msvcrt20.dll file somewhere else, put in in a diskette(or in the boot disk), and after loading DOS with the boot disk, inserting the file in question wherever it's supposed to be in your C drive. Whoever's running win98 should search for msvcrt20.dll and give the path to slurry. The computer's looking for that file? Give him. simple. Something I figured out at 14 yrs old for god's sex(2 years after having my first comp). If windows still shits you some more error messages, and some more files to fetch, well just give him hell and reinstall windows. Somebody tell him how to reinstall, i'm tired. -------------------- jump on her and demand sex!

Yeah, weather's getting hot man. Quebec's known even more for snow than wisconsin(pfff wisconsin), and we're having less and less each year. I remember when I was a kid, we used to consider -25 cold, now it's -15...maybe it's an impression I get because i'm a kid, but anyway, it's a fact that the T has gotten up dramatically. I mean, we used to have snow up our balls. Now, we don't even need boots anymore.Icebergs are melting and causing all this unbalancing on the echosystem. Global warming dude. Another fine product of America inc . on another note, WHAT? you live in Alaska, night wolf? how is that? Like, you on some secret scientist base or something?

ok, I can tell you slurry. By reinstalling, and not reformating, you can hopefully keep all your files, just replacing those that run Windows OS.To reinstall windows: When the boot disk loads DOS and you se A:\, type d: *enter* (d is the letter of your cd-rom drive) setup *enter* or install *enter*; don't remember which. Then windows' setup will load and you take the steps from there. I've never done a reinstall myself(i've allways reformated the whole thing), but I think you should have options to do either one at some point. good luck -------------------- jump on her and demand sex!

If you didn't notice, it's for my personal knowledge that I wanna know this, cause yeah, some ppl do care for their brains. So now crache le morceau doc!
