Well, first I have to give credit where credit is due: this idea came from The Order. Also, as long as I'm giving credit, the Movie Quote Game was an idea I got from V52.Anyways, this is how this works. You can only submit one sentence to the story at a time, and you cannot post twice in a row to add more. Plus, although this is in the Community forum, I am relaxing the rules in this thread. However, this does not mean go wild with spam and flames; that will get your post(s) deleted and you could be banned. Ok, now finally to begin: "It was in the middle of the night, but the man was still awake."

*The phone rang again* -------------------- As I gaze up at the night sky in my own fair time, I look back down and see the devastation. This post-nuclear world. It's terrible. But at least we got Nuka-Cola, warm and flat, the drink of the post-apocalyptic civiliztion. Generation Next!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It was in the middle of the night, but the man was still awake. He looks at the clock and wonders what he is doing up so late at night. Suddenly the phone rang. The phone rang again. The phone rang for the third and LAST TIME. At the last second, he snatched up the phone and threw it across the room. Little did he know, the phone didn't break, and a couple seconds later, it starts ringing again. This time, he dashes across the room and answers the phone Hello? he whispers with a low voice. CONGRATULATIONS! YOU JUST WON $1,000,000! "one of our agents will contact you tommorow morning".
